Noble 16th-century residence, built on the ruins of a roman amphitheatre, it houses inside since 2002 a rich collection of artworks, among which stand out the “Gerardo Dottori Collection”, dedicated to the umbrian futurist master, and the six slates of the “Joseph Beuys Collection”, created in Perugia by the great german artist in 1980.
Palazzo della Penna, from the original identity of the museum, is today developed into a “Centre of contemporary culture”, polyhedral and vital space where take place temporary exhibitions, literary meetings and other cultural activities, lively also by the presence of a gourmet coffee- the BIOO- with wireless LAN.
